Summit Fire & Security Expands Texas Presence with Acquisition of Casteel Automatic Fire Protection
RENO, NEVADA – Summit Fire & Security LLC, a subsidiary of SFP Holding, Inc. (Summit Companies), is pleased to announce the acquisition of Casteel Automatic Fire Protection in Houston, Amarillo, Austin, and Lubbock, Texas, effective September 1, 2026. The transaction was structured as a purchase of substantially all of the assets of Casteel Automatic Fire Protection, Inc.
Founded in 1979, Casteel Automatic Fire Protection has built a strong reputation as one of Texas’ trusted fire sprinkler contractors. With headquarters in Houston and additional offices in Amarillo, Austin, and Lubbock, the company has spent nearly five decades providing fire sprinkler installation and service to commercial and industrial customers throughout the state. Today, Casteel employs over 40 team members and operates a fleet of 30 service vehicles, reflecting its strong regional presence and commitment to serving customers across Texas.

As part of Summit Fire & Security, the Casteel team will continue to service customers in the Houston, Amarillo, Austin, and Lubbock markets. This transition also expands the range of services from Summit available to customers, including fire detection and alarm systems, security alarms, access control systems, alarm monitoring, fire extinguishers, and special hazard fire suppression systems to meet a wide variety of needs.
