Summit Fire Protection Acquires Electric Fire & Security, Expanding Life Safety Offerings in Minnesota

ST PAUL, MINNESOTA – Summit Fire Protection Co., a subsidiary of SFP Holding, Inc. (“Summit Companies”), is pleased to announce the acquisition of Electric Fire & Security in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota effective March 24, 2026. The transaction was structured as a purchase of substantially all of the assets of Electric Fire & Security, Inc.

Founded in 1986, Electric Fire & Security (“EFS”) has built a strong reputation for providing reliable installation, inspection, and maintenance of fire alarm systems, security and access control systems, and electrical. The company serves commercial and multi-housing customers throughout the Twin Cities area.
