Summit Fire & Security Expands Texas Panhandle with A-V Corp/Amarillo Media Systems Acquisition
RENO, NEVADA – Summit Fire & Security LLC, a subsidiary of SFP Holding, Inc. (Summit Companies), is pleased to announce the acquisition A-V Corp and Amarillo Media Systems in Amarillo, Texas, effective October 21, 2026. The transaction was structured as a purchase of substantially all of the assets of Audio-Video Corporation.
Founded in 1946 in Amarillo, Texas, A-V Corp has built a strong reputation for providing fire alarm, security, and communications solutions throughout the Texas Panhandle. The company has expanded its services over eight decades to include fire alarm systems, video surveillance, access control, monitoring, and integrated communications systems. Under the leadership of Richard and Melissa Jones, who joined the company in 1993 and became its owners in 2016, A-V Corp and Amarillo Media Systems have continued serving commercial, educational, and healthcare customers throughout the region.

As the companies combine, customers will continue to be serviced out of their current Amarillo location. This transition also expands the range of services available to customers, including fire sprinklers, fire extinguishers, and special hazard fire suppression systems to meet a wide variety of needs.
